I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

A piece of the poem, The Road Not Taken, by Robert Frost

I’ve always loved this, and it seems apropos to Wendy’s big adventure. Just to be clear, though “the road not taken” could sound negative or regretful, that’s definitely not how I think of it…

Ahoy there Wendy! Safe travels with no travails, my dear. Your life’s journey to date is already “the road not taken,” THEREFORE, should y’all encounter a fork in the road to Fairbanks, please for all our sakes, please, please, please, renounce Frost and take the road well travelled upon.

I’ve always thought that the “Road not taken,” was the best road and I’m a proud mama you’re on it. Having said that, please stay safe.

I know isn’t she the best girl ever? I’m keeping her safe, Donna, by watching out for Elk and deer and badgering her incessantly that I’m going to put blinders on her if she tries to look at that lake ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!
